Rhonda, Isis, + Isiah

This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A month ago, I was contacted by a close friend about scheduling a photo shoot for her coworker. She said that it was going to a very meaningful session for her coworker and her family. And wow, was she right.

Rhonda is the mother to her beautiful children Isis and Isiah. She's hardworking and dedicated to her family. They are her world. This year, Rhonda was diagnosed with breast cancer. While others may have struggled to keep their spirits up, Rhonda has tackled cancer head on. Shirts and t-shirts were quickly made to help with the cost of her medical expenses and Rhonda's village of family and friends have been supporting her every step of the way.

Today, Rhonda will be undergoing a double mastectomy and being her treatment after that. When she shared this information with me, she squeezed the hand of her son and smiled. This family is strong. They are resilient. And I know Rhonda will kick cancer's butt and beat this. Please send your prayers and thoughts her way. <3
