Jana + Bryan + Vincent (Home Session)

During quarantine, I got a message from one of my favorite families asking to do a session once I opened my business doors back up. I absolutely adore photographing Jana, Bryan, and Vincent. They are always so flexible, open to any ideas, and fun to work with! So I was beyond thrilled to photograph them last week outside their home. We took photos on their front porch but also in their gorgeous backyard. They had just finished their deck earlier this year and had been working hard on their landscaping. Bryan has quite the green thumb!

Vincent always keeps me laughing when I photograph him. During the session, he served as the "creative director" and had all sorts of fun ideas! Look photographing him in in his big kid chair and running down the street to throw rocks in the drain. But.. that's what I love to capture - REAL life. Jana laughed and explained this is a daily occurrence in their household and something that Vincent looks forward to everyday.

Quarantine and this virus has forced all of us to slow down. To appreciate the little moments. To turn inwards and reflect. But also to lean on our family members. What I love most about working with this family is that they are a united front. They are a true team and I can always feel that during our sessions. I'm so happy for them and as always, honored to capture their moments!
