Zack + Liz Wedding

A little less than three weeks ago, Zack and Liz were MARRIED at the Silver Fox in Streator, IL. This day will forever hold a special place in my heart! You may remember this beautiful couple from their incredible engagement session (those amazing weight lifting shots). Zack and Liz are two of the most loving and down to earth people you will ever meet. You could truly feel their love on their wedding day. On the day of their wedding, there was a major winter storm. It had just snowed 8 inches and the roads were rough. But, Zack and Liz were SO worth it all.

When we arrived at the Silver Fox, we were absolutely blown away from it's style and beauty. Zack and Liz couldn't have picked a cooler venue for their ceremony and reception. Because of the snow, we decided to opt to do most of the shots indoors. And wow- did they turn out beautiful! Zack and Liz have the most incredible friends and family. Their bridal party was amazing to photograph and they embraced both Layla (my second shooter and the most TALENTED photographer) and I with open arms!

The ceremony itself was held in this gorgeous navy blue hall. As the sunset, Zack and Liz were married. One of my favorite moments of the wedding was when Liz's father played a heartfelt song on his guitar. I don't think there was a dry eye in the room! The reception was equally as stunning and felt so personal to Zack and Liz's style.

Two days after their wedding, Zack and Liz packed up their belongings and moved out west to Washington to start their new lives together! I am so incredibly happy for this couple and feel blessed to have had the opportunity to photograph their special day. One of my favorite parts of photographing weddings is the connections and relationships that I build with the bride and groom and their families and friends. I love being part of such a personal day and cherish the memories that are made. So with that being said, congratulations to Zack and Liz! I couldn't be happier for the two of you.
