DeCair Family Session

To celebrate spring and the one year anniversary of Lauren Winterbotham Photography, I offered a giveaway for a spring session! The DeCair family were the lucky winners. I had never met Dana or Colin, so I was so excited to meet their beautiful family! We took the photos at the University of Illinois Arboretum (my new favorite if you couldn't tell!). And the spring weather finally had all the beautiful trees and flowers in bloom.

When we first arrived to the session, Dana gave me heads up that their youngest son can sometimes get a little camera shy. I planned to play it cool with him to allow him to warm up to me, but almost immediately he was smiling ear to ear! The two boys were absolutely adorable and Conner also equally loved the camera. My favorite shots? The more candid images of them playing! I love capturing a family in their real and authentic moments.

I had an amazing time with this beautiful family and feel so blessed to have had the chance to work with them!
