Luke + Annie Wedding

On Memorial Day weekend, I had the incredible opportunity of photographing Luke and Annie's wedding. I grew up in the same small town as Luke and Annie, so it felt especially sentimental and special! They both have huge families which made this wedding so amazing. Their bridal parties consisted of Annie's three sisters and cousin and Luke's three brothers and best friend. You could truly feel the love throughout the day.

Luke and Annie got married at St. John's Catholic church on campus. And WOW! The church itself was absolutely stunning. Annie looked like an angel walking down the aisle with her dad. After the ceremony, we headed over to the University of Illinois' main quad for some bridal parties photos. This group was SO fun to photograph! The reception was held at Bluestem Hall. My absolute favorite venue. Annie and Luke's family did such an amazing job decorating the space. It looked so beautiful and was absolutely perfect for their special day. We took photos out in the prairie and could not have asked for better weather! The sun was shining, the skies were crystal blue, and the bridal party looked amazing. There's just something so peaceful and serene about Bluestem.

Overall, the entire day was so beautiful. We snuck out during the sunset for some last special moments with Annie and Luke which truly took my breath away. Luke and Annie were meant for one another and I am so happy for the two of them. Congratulations, Luke and Annie, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
