Jenny + Josh Wedding
Growing up in the Champaign-Urbana area, Jenny and Josh always held a special place in their heart for the University of Illinois. They grew up going to sporting events and bled orange and blue. Jenny's parents worked for U of I and she always had dreams as a little girl of becoming a Fighting Illini. So... it only seemed fitting that the two of them have the most EPIC Illini themed wedding.
When Jenny and Josh were teenagers, they both went bowling with some friends. Their lanes were next to one another and they started chatting. Josh asked Jenny if they wanted to bowl for free because he had connections at the bowling alley- and from there true love grew. Josh told me this story as we rode in the car over to campus for him and Jenny to have their first look. And I could feel the love he had for her. You could see it in his eyes. And you could tell that this couple was meant to be.
Because of their love for Illinois, Jenny and Josh held their wedding reception at Memorial Stadium. And it was AMAZING! Their wedding colors were orange and blue and they incorporated their love for the Illini throughout the wedding. My favorite part of the special day? Jenny's parents surprised the couple with FIREWORKS while the bridal party took photos on the field of Memorial Stadium. It was so unbelievably magical and made for one of the most incredible weddings I have ever had the opportunity to photograph.
Congratulations, Jenny and Josh! You two deserve a lifetime of happiness and I feel so blessed to have had the chance to document your special day.
