Melissa + Sean Wedding

Melissa and Sean met in college at the Newman Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Melissa was studying Speech and Hearing Sciences and Sean was studying Electrical Engineering. And it was truly love at first sight.

When I met Melissa and Sean a few months ago, I could feel the love that they had for one another. At their engagement shoot, I would notice the way that Sean looked at Melissa. He looked like the happiest man on earth and I continuously saw that same look on their wedding day. The happy couple had their ceremony at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mahomet. It was officiated by their priest at the Newman Center. Which made the ceremony just that much more meaningful. As Melissa walked down the aisle with her father, Sean's face one again lit up. And you could feel the love that all their family and friends had for them in the room.

After the ceremony, we headed over to Stonecreek Golf Club in Urbana for the reception. You could not have asked for more perfect weather. My favorite part of the ceremony were the incredibly heartfelt speeches that Sean's brother, Melissa's sister, and Melissa's father gave. I couldn't stop tearing up! Overall, the day was incredible and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful couple's special day. Congratulations, Sean and Melissa!
