Jess + Tyler Wedding

This summer I had the pleasure of photographing Jess and Tyler's special day in Springfield, IL. The day was absolutely gorgeous and filled with so many heartwarming moments and memories. Jess is a lawyer so it ONLY made sense that we take photos at the Capital Building and historic downtown Springfield. So cute! We started off the day at the President Lincoln Hotel and Suites and snapped a few shots of the girls and guys getting ready. This is always my absolute favorite part of the day because of the anticipation and excitement! Plus... Jess and Tyler's adorable daughter, Ava, and was equally trying to steal the show! She is so freaking cute!

After getting ready photos, we headed down to the Illinois State Capital building and to the old train station for group shots. The capital building arches were so dreamy and the perfect location for these shots. A literal dream! I loved the way that Jess and Tyler interacted. You could truly feel the love that they have for one another and overall just how much fun they have together. Throughout the entire day Tyler had Jess laughing.

The ceremony and reception took place at the Artisans Building on the fair grounds. Jess and her vendors did such an incredible job of decorating the space and making it so beautiful. My favorite touch? The Krispy Kreme donuts they served for dessert! Jess and Tyler made their entire day true to who they are as a couple. The room was filled with so many loving friends and family members. I cried one too many times throughout the evening because the two of them have created an army of a support system. This couple deserves a lifetime of love and happiness and I feel so honored to have had the chance to document their special day. So, Jess and Tyler, CONGRATULATIONS! <3
