Lydia + Zach Wedding
A few weeks ago, Paul and I traveled to Dixon, IL for Zach and Lydia's wedding. I had met Zach and Lydia previously at their engagement session and adored photographing them. When we arrived to the church for their ceremony, Zach and Lydia were surrounded by so many of their loving friends and families. The ceremony took place at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dixon and was absolutely stunning. I couldn't stop tearing up!
After the ceremony, we rode on a hayrack ride to the reception and even had a police officer escort us! This group was so much fun and had me laughing throughout the entire day. The reception was held at a family friend's barn that they had transformed into a stunning event place. Every piece of decor and detail truly represented Zach and Lydia. I loved how authentic they made their special day. Zach and Lydia recently purchased several acres of land right next to the reception location, so we traveled on a hayrack attached to a tractor to take photos on their land. The forrest, shades of purples, and stunning flower arrangements made for a truly romantic and whimsical experience of the portraits.
What I loved about Lydia and Zach's special day was that it felt like one giant party. It may have been the most fun or one of the most fun weddings I have EVER been to! They had a blast throughout every moment and cherished their day. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to photograph this special couple's day. Congratulations, Zach and Lydia!
