Francesca + Brian Wedding
One of my favorite couples got married late last month! Brian and Francesca's wedding day was absolutely incredible. They were married on Saturday, September 28th at St. John's Catholic Church on the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign's campus. Their reception was at Stonecreek Golf Course. The entire day was perfect and so true to who Francesca and Brian are as a couple. Each detail was perfectly curated and thought through from the gorgeous flowers (that Francesca designed HERSELF!), to the stunning bridesmaids dresses, to the personalized desserts, and stunning reception decor.
The girls started off the day getting ready at Timothy John's Salon and made their way over to the hotel for some finishing touches and to get dressed. I love those precious moments and the shots I get before the ceremony begins. Francesca's entire family was so sweet and it was such a touching moment to see her mom help her get ready. If you haven't been to St. John's Catholic Church, you absolutely have to! It is honestly one of the most gorgeous churches that I have ever been in. It truly does feel heavenly. After Brian and Francesca said their ideas, they had an epic exit out of the church while their guests blew bubbles and they drove away in an incredible corvette.
After the ceremony, we headed over the U of I Arboretum for some formal portraits of the bridal party and Brian and Francesca. What I love most about photographing Brian and Francesca, is their authentic love for one another. You can see it in the way they look at each other and how they interact. I would hardly give them any instructions and they were posing themselves. It was just them. It was natural and true. They all looked so beautiful and were giving me whimsical forrest vibes. One of my favorite shots we got was of Francesca with her veil over her!
The reception was such such a blast.They had their friends MC the evening. Francesca's dad and sister and Brian's best man gave incredible, heartfelt speeches. Everyone got down on the dance floor and the bridal party had an incredible dance with one of Brian and Francesca's priests! Such a wonderful day and I feel so blessed to have had the chance to document it. Congratulations, Brian and Francesca. You two deserve the world and so much more!
