Sarah + Alek Engagement Session

Fall is my absolute FAVORITE time of year! There's just something about the crisp leaves, cool air, and shades of gold that make photos pop and make me so happy! A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to capture Sarah and Alek's engagement photos at the University of Illinois Arboretum and Barnhart Family Prairie Reserve. This gorgeous couple is getting married next October at the amazig Bluestem Hall in Urbana- and I am just counting down the days until their special day! What I love most about an engagement session is the opportunity to really get to know my couples. We are able to feel comfortable with one another, learn more about each other, and become serious PROS at posing and capturing authentic moments!

Sarah and Alek were incredible to photograph. They had so much natural chemistry between one another and made the session so fun! I love being able to capture those unplanned and unscripted moments from a session like a genuine laugh or a romantic look. My favorite part of their session was when Sarah and Alek pulled out these Harry Potter themed scarves and pulled one another in tight. I always encourage my couples to make their sessions unique to them- so it was the perfect ending to our time together!
